The seongsu unique gallery cafe, Daelim Warehouse Gallery, is one of the most well-known spots in Seongsu for those searching for a unique cafe experience. Located just a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3, this space blends a gallery-like atmosphere with cozy seating, exhibitions, and an impressive bakery selection—making it one of the best cafe choices in the area. I arrived around 11am when the cafe opens, and there were many sits available. It became crowded after 1pm.

Seongsu Unique Gallery Cafe: Exhibitions

Inside, a large wooden artwork shaped like a water wheel immediately stands out. During my visit, the ‘My Violet’ perfume exhibition by Loe was on display. It had a mix of floral and soap-like scents that made me feel happy.

There are seats located behind the perfume exhibition, but most visitors prefer the cozy inner section with great atmosphere. The brightly-lit space to the left of the Christmas tree was especially my favorite.

The Christmas tree caught my eye. It would be a great spot for couples and families to hang out during winter seasons.

Delicious Bakeries & Cakes

If you’re searching for a gallery cafe that has delicious pastries, this is a great pick. The bakery corner offers a wide variety of options: croissants, lemon pound cake, canelé and thousand-layer toast. For a meal, they sell focaccia and sandwiches. At the counter, you can order cakes like their famous Basque cake.

The combination of artwork, soft lights, fireplace, and indoor plants gives the space an artistic charm. As a seongsu unique gallery cafe, walking around the cafe feels like exploring a small exhibition. I loved it.

I especially loved the plant and nature-themed artworks.

Outlets & WiFi

Wi-Fi is available across four channels(WIFI_1 ~ WIFI_4), though power outlets are not provided. When I visited most people were there to spend time with others instead of working on their laptops. Many foreigners visited this cafe as well.

Menu Review

When I searched for the best menu, people recommended the lemon pound cake and the basque cake. However, I really wanted to try the Apple Turnover, so I ordered it.

Apple Turnover (6,500 KRW): Crispy, well-baked pastry with a generous cinnamon-apple filling. It too sweet and good.

Einspänner (7,500 KRW): Do not stir—enjoy the cream and coffee together. Smooth, sweet cream paired with bold, slightly bitter coffee creates a perfect harmony.
