Sayu’s Library Myeongdong Date Spot is located just a 4-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 3, making it highly accessible and ideal for anyone searching for a myeongdong restaurant or a romantic date spot.

This six-story building includes a B1 parking lot, a 1st-floor select shop, a 2nd-floor café & pub, a 3rd-floor dining bar restaurant, a 5th-floor private bar, and a rooftop on the 6th floor. I visited with my family for dinner on the 3rd floor.

It even has a private group room, so it looks nice for a company dinner. The dim lighting, stylish furniture, and wine displays create a sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for anyone seeking a romantic date spot in the Myeongdong area.

Menu Recommendation & 40,000 KRW Value Course

We ordered the 40,000 KRW per-person course. For drinks, we chose Sprite, Coke, and Blue Lemon. Our choice dishes included the cheese wheel pasta (cheese wheel Ragu Rigatoni), grilled chicken steak, and Korean beef 1++ steak, followed by vanilla ice cream for dessert. The steaks required additional fees.

The Blue Lemon drink tasted refreshing with a Powerade base.

The meal began with ricotta salad and gambas al ajillo with baguette. Dipping the baguette into the garlic shrimp oil was especially delicious, and the ricotta paired well with bread. Since we finished the bread quickly, we ordered a refill for 4,000 KRW.

Unlike many places, the cheese wheel pasta is mixed directly inside a cheese wheel right in front of you.

They finish it by grating fresh Parmesan on top.

The rich cheese flavor stands out, and I dipped the remaining bread into the sauce.

Next came the Korean Hanwoo 1++ steak, which was incredibly tender and flavorful.

The grilled chicken steak was equally tender.

Dessert was vanilla ice cream with crushed nuts—light and not too sweet.

Service Experience

Since the restaurant was busy, our main dishes took longer than usual. To compensate, the staff served complimentary truffle fries—thin, crispy, and rich with truffle aroma. After finishing your meal, let the staff know so they can clear the dishes.
