I visited the ‘Gaeppul Cafe‘ near Naksan Park. I took the subway to Changsin Station, then got off at the Naksan Park stop after taking the Jongno03 bus. This cafe, which is close to Naksan Park, offers a wonderful seoul city view along with delicious bakery options. Famous as a filming location for dramas, it has recently become a hot spot for foreign visitors thanks to the “Kedeheon” animation. Enjoy a relaxing time at Naksan Park Gaeppul Cafe while admiring the beautiful cityscape of Seoul.

The road to Gaeppul Cafe from Naksan Park was beautiful, with a lovely cityscape and foliage along the way.

Entrance to Naksan Park Gaeppul Cafe

Gaeppul Cafe is divided into two spaces. The area with the counter is more popular because it offers a fantastic view of the Seoul cityscape. It’s also close to the bakery, so it tends to get crowded.
Filming Location

Gaeppul Cafe is famous as a filming location for dramas such as “Goblin” and “I Live Alone.”
Naksan Park Gaeppul Cafe Interior (Counter area)

When you enter through the counter area, you can enjoy seating with a view of the city. Personally, I found the outdoor seating sunny and windy, making it difficult to stay for long.

Though the first-floor seating also offers a city view, the second-floor view seems to be better since it’s less obstructed by nearby buildings.

Baeogae Bakery

Naksan Park Gaeppul Cafe is divided into two spaces that sell drinks and bakery items. You can purchase baked goods from Baeogae Bakery, located right next to Gaeppul Cafe.

There are sweet desserts like cakes, macarons, and egg tarts meanwhile there are also garlic baguettes, pollack roe baguettes, and jambon ciabatta, which can be enjoyed as meals.

There are pretty outdoor seats and second-floor seating with a similar interior design to Gaeppul Cafe. The second-floor is quieter and narrower. Most people opt for seating in the Naksan Park Gaeppul Cafe area rather than upstairs at the bakery. After around 2pm, people filled this bakery seats along with the second gaeppul cafe space.

The second cafe space also offers a city view, although it’s slightly obstructed by nearby houses.

There’s also a large table for groups.

You can see the seoul city view at the end seats. This space, like the bakery section, was more empty before 2pm. It seems that the best spots are the counter area, especially the second-floor seats. There’s a small bridge connecting the two cafe spaces, making it easy to move between them.
Outlet & Work Environment
There aren’t many outlets at Gaeppul Cafe. There are some in the corners of the 1st and 2nd floors of the counter area, and one on each floor at the end of the large table section in the second space. If you don’t need an outlet, it seems like a great place to work while enjoying the beautiful Seoul city view.
Seoul City View: Day vs Night

You can enjoy the sunset city view.

I took this photo after the sunset. The night sky is beautiful.
Drink Menu & Order Review

For lunch, I ordered a pollack roe baguette and my favorite cafe latte.
Cafe Latte (6,500 KRW): The coffee flavor was stronger than the milk.
Pollack Roe Baguette (4,800 KRW): The baguette was crispy on the outside and paired well with the salty roe. The strong taste of the roe might be challenging for people who don’t like seafood.
Why You Should Visit Naksan Park Gaeppul Cafe?
Gaeppul Cafe is a hot spot where you can enjoy a beautiful city view, delicious bakery items, and is famous for being a filming location. If you want to relax while admiring the cityscape after visiting Naksan Park, it’s a must-visit.
If you’re looking for another cafe with a city view near Changsin Station, enjoy the night view at “Tertre.” I recommend reading reviews before visiting.
