After shopping at COEX, I needed a quiet spot to work on my laptop. I found a few options nearby, but Fourstones stood out because:

From the outside, Fourstones looks like a big house tucked among trees. It gave off a peaceful, homey feeling right away.

Inside, the minimalist coffee shop features plenty of wooden furniture, doors, and stairs that enhance its peaceful and natural vibe. When you walk in, you’ll see a self-service area with cakes and baked goods, which you can place on a tray before ordering at the counter. They also offer sandwiches, drinks, and other food items.

I tried a café latte (₩6,300) and salted bread (₩4,000). Although I didn’t specify a coffee bean when ordering, my latte was made with the Onyx Classic Blend, one of four coffee beans with clear English flavor descriptions—great for international visitors.

I originally wanted a sandwich, but sadly they were sold out. The salted bread was warm, buttery, slightly salty taste and nicely paired with the coffee.

The latte was a bit on the pricier side and served in a smaller cup than I anticipated. Still, the flavor was excellent — bold and robust without the bitterness, offering a rich, concentrated coffee experience.
