Mailroom Sindang Cafe Decorated with White and Yellow Letters
Just a 2-minute walk from Sindang Station Exit 1, Mailroom Sindang Cafe is themed around the idea of a “mailbox.” This European-style vintage cafe expresses “the excitement of receiving a letter” through the cafe experience.

From the outside, the Mailroom Sindang Cafe is decorated with white and yellow letters.

The café has five floors — the 1st floor serves as the counter, while you can enjoy your coffee on the remaining floors except for the photo studio on the 4th floor.

At the entrance counter, you’ll find egg tarts, financiers, and cookies displayed. Behind the counter is a vintage letter-box wall.

Next to the counter, there is an mailbox entrance. On the other side, you can make your order.

After ordering, you receive a key and buzzer, and later, you pick up your drink from your numbered mailbox.
Interior & Atmosphere

Both the 1st and 2nd floors feature European vintage wooden furniture. The 2nd floor has five individual seats and a long table in front of the goods display.

You’ll find teacups, bags, notebooks, and T-shirts as café goods. This is the only floor with the music on the background, and you can hear a lot of people chatting. Each floor has 2-3 outlets , so some people came to work on their laptop.

On the ceiling of the 3rd floor, old book pages and Mailroom order receipts hang down artistically. Inside a vintage birdcage, letters are placed, adding to the unique design you won’t find elsewhere. There are two group-sized tables with a total of 12 seats. I worked on this 3rd floor, which offered a quiet, sunlit workspace with a large window view. You can spot part of Namsan Tower behind buildings. Sadly, the wi-fi was weak so it wasn’t comfortable working on my laptop.

The 5th floor feels more modern and cozy, ideal for dates and relaxing moments. It also had a soft sofa.

The rooftop gives a view of Namsan Tower, and with its low camping-style chairs and tables, it’s perfect for enjoying coffee on warm days.
Mailroom Sindang Cafe Menu

I ordered an Iced Cafe Latte, Earl Grey Cake, and a Salt Egg Tart. My buzzer rang so I went to the first floor to get my order. I thought I had to use the key to open the mailbox but it was purposely not locked. After returning the key and the buzzer, I went back to my seat.

Iced Cafe Latte (₩6,500): A refreshing balance between mild bitterness and milk.
Earl Grey Cake (₩8,500): A three-layer cake with tangerine scent, caramel, and earl grey cream. It’s got a strong tangerine flavor, so you’ll either love it or not.
Salt Egg Tart (₩6,000): It’s crispy outside and creamy inside. It’s not too sweet and the salt on top of the egg tart makes it slightly salty. It tastes good, but it’s a little heavy after eating half of it.
