If you’re walking around Heunginjimun Gate near Dongdaemun Station, you can spot Jeong Geurida Nature Cafe by its green exterior, coconut tree logo, and large JEONG GEURIDA sign. Jeong Geurida Nature Cafe Entrance

Before entering the cafe, you’ll notice plants, coffee sacks, and a large screen playing music.
1st Floor interior
On the 1st floor, there’s a counter and various seating options: floor seating, window seats with the view of Heunginjimun Gate, a sofa, and 4-person tables. During the day, sunlight fills the cafe, and in the afternoon, soft lighting creates a cozy atmosphere.

The window seats are sunny but offer a beautiful view of Heunginjimun Gate.
2nd Floor Interior

The stairs lead to the 2nd floor where 2-person seats are right in front. This seat looked a bit uncomfortable because it is placed in a tiny space.

There are seating options for 1 to 5+ people on the 2nd floor.

You can also enjoy a view of Heunginjimun Gate through the windows.

The overall decor features plants and vacation-style lighting, creating the feeling of being in a small resort.
There are outlets on both floors, making it convenient for work. The 2nd-floor 4-person table is ideal for working thanks to its great ambiance.

This 5+ person group seat has a direct Heunginjimun Gate view. 5+ person seats are available for a maximum of 2 hours per reservation.

From the 2nd floor, you can see the plant-filled interior on the 1st floor.
On weekdays, the cafe starts getting busy after 12 PM. Many foreign visitors also come after noon.
Cafe Menu

The kiosk highlights Jungle Cake and Jeong Geuriya as the best choices.

I ordered the Jeong Geuriya Signature (Mango x Coconut, 5,500 KRW). It’s a mango latte with pomelo, mango, and jelly toppings. If you like bubble tea, you’ll enjoy it, and it seems perfect for children.
