If you’re planning a winter outing, this Jamsil Christmas Market Date guide will give you a clear idea of what to expect. I visited on a Monday, experienced both day and night, and although there was no waiting at the entrance, the inside stayed crowded throughout the day. Entry is free before 16:00 with an online reservation and 5,000 KRW afterward. If you don’t have a Naver account, you can buy the ticket on the spot. I arrived at 16:00 and entered the market without any queue. I explored the market, took a short break at a nearby Jamsil cafe around 17:00, and used the re-entry stamp near the market exit later to enter again through the exit without any issues.

Daytime Experience

At night, the Christmas lights create a cozy, romantic atmosphere, but I also enjoyed the market at daytime. If you like Jamsil date spots, Christmas date and Christmas concept goods, I highly recommend Jamsil Christmas Market.

Food Highlights

1. Wangjungpyeong Juicy Dumplings

These meat dumplings are packed with broth and served with a mild Asian-style sauce. It was so good we looked up if there is Wangjungpyeong Juicy Dumpling restaurant. Unfortuntely there weren’t any in Seoul. It was the best food I tried in jamsil christmas market.

2. Mils

The cheeseburger bun with a thick sausage gives off a German-style street food vibe. The combination of cheese, bread and sausauge cannot go wrong. It was alright.

3. Ghana Chocolate House

The chocolate fondue cheesecake is heavily coated in chocolate, so the cheesecake flavor is lighter. The chocolate has chocolate ball and pretzel on top.

The s’more hot chocolate is rich and warm, with a sweetness of ghana chocolate. The marshmellow was soft and chewy.

Both are quite sweet, so sharing one is enough for a sugar boost.

4. Wine Market

The 5,000 KRW mulled wine tastes familiar and warm with a cola candy flavor.

Things to See

1. LEGO

The store was crowded, but outdoor displays allowed visitors to enjoy the LEGO creations.

2. Music Box

A charming booth where you can manually turn music boxes and watch the mechanisms move.

3. Present Moment

This stall sells a christmas countdown calendar filled with chocolates and a variety of merry christmas card designs.

4. Four-Cut Photo Booth

The waiting time was longer during the day but at night, there were only 4 team in front of us so we made a reservation.
