Hyehwa Date Course: 6 Must-Visit Date Spots in Hyehwa Dong

Hyehwa is a neighborhood full of various places that are great for enjoying a date. In this post, I introduce a Hyehwa date course starting from Persian Palace, followed by the comedy play The Killer Story, Choosticker photos, Miniso, Perfumegraphy, and finally Chillin café—hot places in Hyehwa that are definitely worth experiencing. This guide is perfect for couples looking for top things to do in Hyehwa Dong near Hyehwa Station.

Hyehwa Date Course 1) Persian Palace

This place fully captures the atmosphere of ancient Persia (Iran). Near the entrance, there are records showing that it has appeared on TV programs.

The entrance is decorated with hookahs and kettles.

We ordered the popular whole chicken curry set and butter naan. By writing a Naver review, we received a free Lassi Persian yogurt drink. When paying through the table kiosk, we selected curry spiciness level “normal 2.0.”

The walls are decorated with murals in the style of ancient Persia (the old name of Iran).

Whole Chicken Curry Set: As you keep eating, it becomes spicy. It tasted like curry that Koreans would really like. The chicken skin was fried crispy and was delicious. The scorched rice was crispy on the outside, making it fun to chew.

Butter Naan: The naan had a rich buttery flavor. When dipped in curry, it becomes addictive.

Lassi: A creamy yogurt drink that tasted sweet and slightly salty.

2) The Killer Story – Comedy Theater

Because there were many reviews saying it was fun, I came to Hyehwa to watch a play for the first time.
We chose back seats, but since there was space, they moved us to middle seats.

The actors interacted with the audience, gave prizes to participants, and the story was very entertaining, making everyone burst out laughing continuously.
It was perfect for a fun date near Hyehwa Station.
Highly recommended as one of the top things to do in Hyehwa Dong.

Hyehwa Date Course 3) Choosticker Photo

If you want to add a fun activity to your Hyehwa date course, Choosticker photos are recommended.

Price:

1 photo sheet – 6,000 KRW
2 photo sheets – 10,000 KRW

Pen attached on both sides allow you to decorate the photos.

Various stickers are provided, and each image must be decorated within a time limit. The time felt short, which was a bit disappointing, but it was more fun than regular photo booths.
Because it was a sticker photo, I attached it to my phone case and was very satisfied.

4) Miniso

Miniso is located right in front of Choosticker Photo.

It’s a good place to browse because there are many cute items.

Harry Potter goods are displayed next to the cashier.

You can also find anime items such as Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, and Zootopia merchandises.

Recently popular Zootopia Nick and Judy dolls, bags, and gloves are placed near the entrance. After browsing cute items, we moved to the perfume store Perfume Graphy, which is about a 2-minute walk away.

Hyehwa Date Course 5) Perfume Graphy

This was a great date spot where you can smell various perfumes and choose your favorite scent to purchase.

There are also hand creams available. During the date, smelling perfumes and learning each other’s preferences was enjoyable. Coffee beans are provided to smell when it becomes difficult to distinguish scents.

6) Chillin

As the final stop of the Hyehwa date course, I recommend Chillin café. If you looking for churros near me, you must try them here.

At this cozy churros café, we ordered a churros set, milkshake, grapefruit ade, and cream latte. For sauces, we chose chocolate and blueberry. Personally, even without sauce, the churros were delicious because they were generously coated with sugar and cinnamon. Dipping them into a vanilla ice-cream-flavored milkshake is also highly recommended. The cream latte had a great balance between the cream and coffee beans.
