Cafe Alver in Gangnam is located just an 8-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6, making it easily accessible. As you approach, you’ll notice a large wooden house surrounded by trees and greenery—that’s your destination. While it doesn’t look like a typical cafe from the outside, a wooden sign will guide you to Cafe Alver.

First Impressions and Ordering at the Counter

When you enter through the first floor, you’ll find the main counter where a selection of rolls, scones, and pound cakes are displayed. I ordered a cafe latte (₩7,000) and an Earl Grey pound cake (₩4,800).

The Earl Grey pound cake was subtly flavored and not too sweet—perfect for those who prefer light desserts. The slice was so generous in size that I ended up finishing my drink before the cake.
