Looking for a cozy cafe in Seongsu, I discovered a place known as a the Best Seongsu souffle cafe 5to7 and decided to visit. It is a 9-minute walk from Ttukseom Station.

I could feel the winter vibe with the Christmas decoration on the exterior. When I visited around the opening hour of 12pm on a weekday, there were only two cusomters, but people gradually filled the cafe after 1pm.

1F Seating & Counter

You immediately see the 1F seatings and the counter when you enter the cafe. The first floor has very little sunlight entering from the windows, creating a subtly dark and cozy atmosphere.

The souffle is made near the “Pick Up” sign.

Outdoor Seating

Before going up to the 2F and rooftop, there is a small outdoor seating area.

2F Cozy Foliage View Seats

The seats by the large window are perfect for taking photos. You can see the foliage outside, and thanks to natural light, food photos looks instagrammable.

The 2F is brighter than the first floor as it gets more sunlight. With subtle cafe lightings, it feels cozy and perfect for a relaxed vibe. The music is calm, and the large window with foliage views makes this a great cafe for dates. There are many outlets on this floor so it’s ideal for working on your laptop.

Rooftop View

On a nice day, it’s great to enjoy coffee on the rooftop while admiring the foliage. There are four round tables, and the table on the left closest to the tree has the best view.

5to7 Spanner (₩8,000): On top is a thin layer of sugar like crème brûlée that cracks. Below is custard cream with vanilla latte. The visual might look very sweet, but it is not overly sweet and easy to enjoy. If you like lattes, this will suit your taste.

Fruit Souffle (₩17,000): The fruit souffle took 15minutes to make. The reason I want to call this place a souffle cafe is this menu. The souffle itself is very soft with a strong egg flavor. Eating it with milk-flavored cream is so good. Since the seasonal fruit is fig, they generously add figs on the side, along with blueberries and fig jam. Highly recommended for fruit lovers.
