From the outside, the large transparent windows caught my eye right away. I could easily see into the café from the street, and that gave it a very welcoming vibe. I love cafes with big windows because I enjoy people-watching while sipping my drink—and 9HERTZ nailed that experience.

Next to the counter, there’s a neat dessert display featuring handmade scones and cookies. Everything looked delicious and well-presented. The top 3 most popular desserts at 9HERTZ are the custard scone, double choco chip scone and fresh cream berry scone.

I went with my go-to drink: a café latte (₩4,800) and custard scone(₩4300). The flavor was really unique—it had a slight scorched rice taste to it. At first, I was a bit surprised, but it grew on me quickly. It’s not your typical latte, but in a good way! I’d order it again on my next visit.
